Important information for using YiMeet before commercial launch.

Privacy policy

YiMeet processes account information, meeting text, uploaded context files, listener settings, usage history, feedback messages, and payment status to provide live translation and account management.

  • Meeting audio is used to create transcripts and translations. Do not upload or speak confidential information unless you have permission.
  • Uploaded meeting files and glossary terms are used as translation context.
  • Payment card details are handled by Stripe. YiMeet does not store full card numbers.
  • Users can view usage history and delete saved meeting summaries from the account page.
  • YiMeet uses technical logs to secure the service, diagnose errors, and protect against abuse.

Data retention and user rights

  • Account, billing status, and usage history are kept while the account is active and as required for accounting or legal obligations.
  • Meeting summaries are kept according to the user's plan limit and can be deleted from the account page.
  • Uploaded context files are extracted into text for translation context; users should avoid uploading documents they are not allowed to process.
  • Users may request access, correction, deletion, or export of their personal data through the contact form.

Terms of use

  • YiMeet is provided for meetings, training sessions, events, and similar communication scenarios.
  • AI transcription and translation may contain errors. Users remain responsible for checking important information.
  • Do not use YiMeet for medical, legal, emergency, safety-critical, or high-risk decisions without professional review.
  • Plans include monthly minutes, scan limits, listener-language limits, and saved-summary limits shown on the pricing page.
  • Users must have the right to record, transcribe, translate, or share the meeting content they process with YiMeet.

AI and service notice

YiMeet uses third-party services for AI processing, email delivery, payment, hosting, and security. Service availability may depend on those providers and network quality.

  • AI results are generated automatically and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.
  • YiMeet may use providers such as OpenAI, Stripe, Brevo or another SMTP provider, and hosting infrastructure to operate the service.
